Abstract

Forecasting is one method used for doing business analytics. PT. “X” is a company that currently have more than a thousand sales data that needs to do the forecasting analytics to predicts their sales and doing decision making in the future. The forecasting analysis will use single moving average and single exponential smoothing method so the analysis result can be compared using mean absolute deviation to find out which method is more accurate. The best forecasting result will be implemented as visualization report in business intelligence dashboard so that it can help companies in carrying out strategies in the future.
