Pengujian Performa Komunikasi VoIP Menggunakan Static dan Dynamic Routing Protocol

Abstract

The Voice-over Internet Protocol (VoIP) is one of many technologies in the modern communication era. It brings every people to communicate with their relatives around the world at a relatively small cost. The concept of VoIP has similarities to the telephone in general, with the advantages of the cost that is relatively small because the communication was made through internet. The VoIP system involves packet data, signal, and routing, the latter divided into two common types of routing: static and dynamic. Each type of routing has strengths and weaknesses, depending on how the configuration has built. The purpose of this paper is to compare the perfomances of static routing and dynamic routing on VoIP networks, measured through communication latency. With this research, it will determine the performances of VoIP networks.
