Penerapan Metode Site Survey untuk Mengukur Radius Access Point dengan Tools Visiwave
Abstract
To know the radius of each existing Access Point located on 8th floor of Graha Widya Maranatha, a research is conducted. A data is collected through the help of VisiWave application by walking around all area which will be showing a data in a form of signal strength, area coverage that can be reached, AP position, noise, and etc. The collected data is will be processed and measured using mathematical formula, the Pythagorean formula. By knowing the radius of the range obtained from research, its possible to find out whether the distance is feasible in getting a signal or not and can help to rearrange the Access Point or further the research to improve the Access point performance.
