Gamifikasi Penataan Produk Mebel dengan Pembuatan Aplikasi Augmented Reality Berbasis Android
Abstract
AR technology is a mixed reality system that is relatively new and has not been fully explored in its level of use. The implementation of hand-held augmented reality (AR) can be achieved due to the increasing processing power and technological capabilities within smartphone devices. As the technological capabilities of hand-held devices continue to improve, smartphones will bridge the gap between the existence of augmented reality and the public’s awareness of technologies. Companies have also provided software development tools (SDK) and game engines for programmers to further create vast opportunities and carry out research on the use of AR technology with various innovations and useful features. The primary purpose of this study is to implement augmented reality features with the available SDK by creating a mobile AR application to provide visualization of 3D furniture models. The application is developed and programmed using the Unity engine along with the ARCore extensions for AR Foundation to enable augmented reality features on the supported android device.
