Abstract

This article examines the impact of Zenius's independent study program, "Data Analytics for Climate Change Resolution and Sustainable Development," on addressing Indonesia's climate challenges. With Indonesia's significant role in greenhouse gas emissions and vulnerability to climate impacts, this study investigates the program's efficacy in fostering a scientific and evidence-based approach. The curriculum is analyzed through a multi-stage implementation, integrating experiential learning, specialized data analytics classes, and critical thinking components. The study evaluates how these stages empower participants to apply their knowledge through a collaborative final project. Findings indicate the program successfully imparts a deep understanding of climate issues and practical data analysis skills. The final projects also highlight participants' ability to apply this knowledge effectively. In conclusion, the article recommends enhancements to the Learning Management System and improved access to relevant datasets. This case study contributes valuable insights to discussions on effective educational strategies in climate change mitigation and sustainable development within a concise framework.
