Sistem Manajemen Peminjaman Ruangan untuk Kegiatan Kemahasiswaan Berbasis Website di Universitas Kristen Maranatha

Abstract

The manual room booking process at Universitas Kristen Maranatha results in inefficiencies, a lack of transparency, and difficulties in data integration. This research aims to design a web-based room booking system to enhance user satisfaction, information transparency, and integration of the booking process from request submission to reporting. Data was collected through interviews with the Directorate of Facilities and Infrastructure, which manages the rooms, and an analysis of the current room booking system. The system is developed using PHP, MySQL, Bootstrap, and JavaScript libraries for certain features. The implementation results demonstrate that the system successfully streamlined the booking process, provided real-time room information, and digitally integrated all stages of the reservation process. The developed system effectively enhanced operational efficiency and increased service accessibility, while making room management more structured and transparent.
